A. The Commemorative Partnership Program (CPP) provides funding to organizations undertaking remembrance initiatives.
The CPP provides funding for two types of projects:
- Community Engagement funding supports organizations undertaking remembrance initiatives including commemorative activities or the development of commemorative materials.
- Community War Memorial funding supports the construction, restoration or expansion of a community war memorial.

A. The application deadline for community war memorial applications is the first business day of November for projects starting on or after April 1 of the following year.
A. Applications requesting $5,000 or less are accepted on an on-going basis and should be submitted at least three months before the project start date. Larger application requests are subject to a deadline date. Further information can be found on our website.
A. Veterans Affairs Canada aims to notify applicants of its funding decision within 12 weeks of the application date or the application deadline date if applicable.
A. Applications in progress can be save and edited at a later date via Access an existing application.
A. A final report must be submitted within 30 days of project completion.
